Balcony Flower Power

Yesterday I did it.
I planted some flower boxes on my balcony.
What? Did I hear you say that planting flowers is a girls thing?
Well, maybe, I don't care. Hopefully the flowers will help me to spend more time on my balcony than last year.
It felt good to dig with bare hands in the dirt and have the scent of soil in the nose.
I found it very funny to buy the stuff in the garden shop in the middle of crowds of chattering women. There were a few men, too, but they just pushed the shopping cart behind their female officer.
